DESIGN-BUILD PROJECT KICKOFF
Length: 5 Days(s) | Units: 4.0 CEUs | Cost: $1795.00
This workshop is for project procurement officials, project sponsors and champions, project team members and new or experienced project managers responsible for rapidly starting up a new project and putting a strong foundation under major, complex projects. On Day One, we get down to work. We work directly with participant personnel to assess the needs and identify the requirements necessary to successfully kickoff the project. At the end of Day Five, the deliverables include a stakeholder list and analysis, thorough Work Breakdown Structure, high level schedule in CPM format loaded in Microsoft Project® software, an order-of-magnitude or better budget, a risk analysis and risk management plan, resource allocation of staff and major assets, a personnel assignment matrix, a cohesive project team, and a project charter that officially kickoffs the project. Normally, this workshop kicks off a project in a fraction of the time that is normally needed to traditionally begin projects ranging in size from several hundred to many millions of dollars. The skills are developed in-house during this workshop, and then are transferable to future projects.
