This workshop and seminar is for executives, portfolio directors, program managers, senior functional managers, senior project managers and program staff responsible for establishing program management in an organization and managing programs. This fast-paced two-day workshop will enable the participant to initiate a new program that will include organizing a program into logical projects, determining the program standards and procedures, establishing evaluation metrics, determining the program manager competencies and developing a change management approach. The participant will learn how to define the stakeholder types and how to manage them. Further, the participant will learn how to identify and resolve program level scope creep, issue escalation, managing matrixed project teams and controlling subcontractors. By reviewing financial reports, the accepted strategies for reporting to management, the sponsoring government organization and its clients, the program’s projects will maintain momentum, generate higher aggregate returns than if managed separately, and foster new ideas and innovations for improved management.
