This seminar is for procurement officials, project team members, and those government officials who need a quick, but thorough introduction to project management. This three-day seminar is based on latest industry and Project Management InstituteĀ® (PMIĀ®) standards. It is designed to introduce and acquaint the participant with the nine major project management knowledge areas, four life cycle phases, and five project management processes used by project management professionals nationwide. The course will familiarize the participant with program management terms, standards and methods, metrics commonly used, and control techniques that are employed in all types of government projects. The participant will receive useful guidance on assembling and motivating a team, resource analysis and leveling, scheduling, costing, risk management and staff administration of projects. This course is packed with common sense and practical information that will jump start project team members and administrative staff that support the projects. Based on our popular Project Management Bootcamp, this course addresses the necessary skills and techniques that all staff in the project management process must master to become will familiarize the participant with the terminology, methodologies and tools of project management.
